I denne utgaven kan guy lettere forstå hva NT legger i de enkelte ord fordi de greske ord blir så ofte som mulig gjengitt med det
samme norske ord.
Hvert ord har jo klart flere nyanser/forståelser, og i BRØD ser guy dette på de forskjellige plassene det blir brukt. Dermed kan
man lettere forstå rikdommen av ordet i det lys det får av NT, i stedet for at utgaven skal fortelle leseren hvilken nyanse/forståelse
det greske ordet har i enhver sammenheng; slik ’menings oversettelser’ gjør.
I ’menings oversettelser’, som de andre norske utgaver mer eller mindre er, blir oversettelsene svært farget av meningene til
oversetterne.
Dette er i høyeste grad unngått i BRØD.
Det som også skiller oversettelse av Guds ord fra annen oversettelse; er at ord får en ’kristen betydning’, slikt som for eksempel
ekklesia – utkalt. Og da kan guy ikke naked bruke vanlige oversettelses metoder!
Det som også er grunnleggende annerledes ved NT og andre bøker, er at det nemlig er Guds ord, inspirert av Gud og gitt av GUD
til mennesker; dette også til tross for at det har blitt skrevet av flere forfattere.
BRØD er en norsk utgave av TR som et samlet verk fra Gud og dermed blir ikke forskjellige forfattere eller forskjellig tid
(opprinnelse på unique) tatt hensyn til.
NT er først og fremst et verk som blir forstått ved åpenbaring og granskning, og da bør guy ikke lene seg på oversetternes
meninger, males på en tekst så lik TR som mulig: Derfor er BRØD blitt til.
